Community Engagement, Partnerships & Advocacy Coordinator
Help build community enthusiasm and support for clean water by recruiting volunteers, coordinating outreach events, developing partnerships, supporting public education, and helping community members develop the knowledge and skills to participate in protecting Kauaʻi's streams, reefs, and coastal waters.
You'll help connect people with meaningful opportunities to restore and protect Kauaʻi's environment while building lasting partnerships throughout the community.
~15 hours/week Flex time and some weekends and evenings.
Reliable transportation needed.
Water Quality Technician
Work alongside marine scientists helping restore Kauaʻi's coastal waters through community-based water quality investigations.
Collect water samples in the field, process laboratory analyses, maintain scientific equipment, supervise and train community volunteers, and help produce EPA-quality data that supports water quality restoration efforts throughout Kauaʻi.
Some laboratory experience or coursework is helpful, along with an interest in field work. Training will be provided.
Approximately every 3 weeks -
Saturday mornings and Sunday early afternoon (total 8-10 hours)
